Journal articles, conference papers etc

The CIILO database includes detailed references to many journal articles, conference papers etc. The library currently indexes all articles from the following insurance and financial services journals:

• Geneva papers on risk and insurance, issues and practice

• Insurance trends
• Journal (British Insurance Law Association)
• Journal (Chartered Insurance Institute)  
• Journal of international insurance
• Money management
• Planned savings
• Post magazine
• Reinsurance
• Review (Informa Group)
• Sigma
• STI times  
• Technical adviser  

In addition, selected items are indexed from a wide range of other journals as well as conference proceedings etc. The earliest journal articles on the database date from the 1890s but most articles date from 1993 to the present.

Titles marked with are also included in CIILO's digital journal archvie. In addition, photocopies can be ordered of most articles.

Separate publications

The CIILO database includes detailed records for all books, pamphlets and other materials in the collection of the CII Library plus some important items not in stock. Click here for coverage.

Web sites and other web documents

Since 2000 we have been systematically adding to the CIILO database Web sites and other Web documents falling within our core area. Web versions of printed items in stock are also being recorded. Important sites are additionally listed in a browsable directory.
